How You Can Help
Many people have been so touched and saddened by how Rhiya tragically and needlessly lost her life and we are always being asked if there are ways people can help. We are so grateful to all those people who feel strongly about supporting our fight for justice and that have shared in our grief.
Not only is it important to us that Rhiya’s story is told and that she is remembered. We also want to do all we can to help prevent such a needless tragedy from re-occurring. Below are some of the ways that you could help us achieve this.
GET STICKING – please contact us if you would like to help raise awareness by placing a sticker on your car window. Since these have been in use, the number of ‘hits’ on Rhiya’s site has increased daily. Many people have chosen to stick them in their shop windows too. Email us on parents@justiceforrhiya.co.uk with your details and we will send them to you.
RAISE AWARENESS IN CHILDCARE – We have received requests from some childcare providers asking that we meet with their staff to talk about Rhiya’s case. We most certainly want people in this profession to be aware of all the facts surrounding Rhiya’s death, but under advice from our solicitor’s and due to an ongoing investigation we have refrained from doing so at this stage. You can help us by passing this link on to any childcare provisions that your children, relatives and friends attend. We believe this may help managers and staff review their own settings.
FUNDRAISING– Fundraising can be a fun way of supporting our chosen charity in memory of Rhiya. Companies can choose from simple methods of fundraising to day activities as part of a team-building event. Donating is simple to set up on the internet, not only will you be raising funds for Bliss, but if you include the link to this website, you will also be helping us raise awareness. Please contact us if you are interested in setting up a fundraising event as an individual or company. We will then ensure that the funds go to Rhiya’s precious star fund for Bliss.
